Based on the little bit I know of Keyshia's bg (from her show), her mom was a sw and got pregnant by a non-black man she didn't know, making Keyshia the product of that lifestyle. It isn't going to vary a lot by person, so if it's mid-70's or lower that's either a different ethnicity (most likely afro- latino or creole) or that person is just MIXED recently. You might as well say being white American or any other ethnicity is 'highly variable' as well. Most of us are in the 80% range ( upper, mind you) which makes sense because admixture is spread throughout the ethnicity itself. You can not realistically refer to admixture as being so variable.
